Job Summary
Lafarge Cement Major Distributors, Wholesale and Retail Sales, a very trustworthy business in Port Harcourt is receiving applications for the position of an accountant in the organisation. The successful candidate will help manage the daily transactions and finances of the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
- Prepare balance sheets
- Process invoices
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Reconcile bank statements
- Participate in financial audits
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Assist with budget preparation
- Review and implement financial policies
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Job Requirements/ Qualifications
- 0-3yrs experience as an Accountant Officer or Similar role in a trade Company.
- Experience using excel.
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting.
- Open to work from Monday - Friday
